The Ready to Collect Art Advisory Desk at Art Toronto is a new program aimed at making purchasing artwork at the fair more accessible. Through guidance from Art Advisors working at this space, fair visitors will receive personalized suggestions on how to navigate the fair, what galleries or artworks to spend time with, and assistance with purchasing work.

Art Advisors may field inquiries such as

• I’m interested in ____ type of artwork, where should I start?
• I have a budget of $5,000 artwork and am looking for a painting, do you have some recommendations?
• I’ve found something that I really love but want a second opinion before I buy.

Advisors working at the Art Advisory Desk are paid for their time and as such they are expected to provide fair advice or suggestions that represents as many exhibiting galleries as possible.

To help us to prepare for this new program Galleries are asked to submit a booth program by September 15th, this will be shared with advisors as well as sorted and available at the booth.

Note: Art Advisors participating in this program will be conducting a walk-through of the fair during the Media Preview hour on Thursday October 29th.
