Since the start of the pandemic, Art Toronto has been closely following the advice of public health authorities. As an event, we will continue to abide to the latest guidance from local authorities, while making every effort to ensure your time at Art Toronto is both enjoyable and safe.

IMPORTANT: Please note that all restrictions and requirements are subject to change at any time to best protect the health and safety of all of its audiences in accordance with government guidelines and legal allowances. These may include, without limitation, changes to capacity, attendance procedures, and entry requirements, such as mandatory mask wearing, proof of vaccination and/or negative COVID-19 test, daily screening, contact tracing and any other protective measures. If any visitor, exhibitor, partner, sponsor, or staff do not comply with any laws, mandates, health orders/directives, show management may refuse admission to the event or require individual to leave the venue and with no refunds of entrance fees, booth fees, membership fees, parking fees, rental fees, or any other expenses/payments.

Health & Safety Guidelines

The following Health and Safety Guidelines will be in place at Art Toronto 2022:

Face Coverings: In line with the latest provincial guidance, mask wearing will not be required but is optional. Face masks are recommended where physical distancing may not be possible. We encourage everyone to take precautions based on their individual risk assessment and comfort level.

Contactless Ticketing: We encourage everyone to pre-purchase tickets at arttoronto.ca prior to attending the event. Upon entry, simply present your tickets on your mobile device. Alternatively, you may print out your digital ticket and present it at the door for scanning.

Self Assessment of Symptoms: If you are not feeling well and are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home.

Enhanced Sanitization:  We are working with our venue partners to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness with a focus on high-touch areas such as door handles, restrooms and food and beverage areas. We will also provide additional hand sanitizing stations throughout the event space, encouraging all participants to practice good hand hygiene.

Building Ventilation: The Metro Toronto Convention Centre continues to use highly effective air filters in all HVAC systems and have increased the cleaning frequency of the air handling units. The volume of fresh air intake increased from a baseline of 20% up to 50%. Running hours of air handling units have been extended to further increase the turnovers of fresh air replacement in the facility.
