Angelica DemetriouPrincipal at Demetriou Art Group
Angelica has fifteen years of experience in the business and cultural sectors, including fine art consulting, arts publishing, business management, and communications. She has worked with some of Canada’s most notable private and corporate art collectors in the areas of acquisition and divestment as well as curation. She is the former Director of Business Development and Communications at Tatar Art Projects where she led the firm’s cataloguing and corporate projects, and is the former Communications Manager of award-winning design firm PLANT Architect. As an active member of the visual arts community, Angelica has served on juries, panels and committees, including for the Papier Contemporary Art Fair, Artist Project, Art Toronto Opening Night Committee for the Art Gallery of Ontario, and most recently the Magenta Foundation. She holds an MA in Art History and an Honours BA in English and Art History from the University of Toronto. In 2019, she was named an RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards finalist — a program that recognizes the country’s leading female entrepreneurs.
