Daniel Faria & Kevin Boothe

This brief conversation between Daniel Faria and Kevin Booth touches upon the impact of COVID-19, the challenges of connecting with artworks in a digital context, and their enthusiasm for an in-person Art Toronto 2021 -- with insights about what they will be showing at the fair.

LaTiesha Fazakas & Dave Kimelberg

LaTiesha Fazakas, Director and Curator, Fazakas Gallery

Vancouver Dave Kimelberg, Founder and Owner, K Art Gallery, Buffalo

Latiesha Fazakas established her gallery in 2012 whereas Dave Kimelberg, a member of the Seneca Nation, founded K Art in December 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The two gallerists, focused on First Nations artists, discuss how technology has inspired new strategies, and reveal artists they will be showing at Art Toronto 2021.

Wil Kucey & Troy Seidman

Wil Kucey, Director, Canadian Fine Arts, Toronto

Troy Seidman, Founder, Caviar20, Toronto

Two young gallerists working on the secondary market, Wil Kucey and Troy Seidman define the dynamism of the dealer-collector relationship, and how gallerists can help collectors identify various entry points to collect art (even notable artists!). In anticipation of Art Toronto 2021, each share one key work that will grace their booth at the fair: a print by General Idea from Seidman, a painting by Jean-Paul Riopelle by Kucey.
